Arkan Drew: "On this next hunt you will face what can only be called an Escalation of Behemoths, each one stronger than the last. But after every victory, your lantern can draw power from the lodestone's charged aether field to amplify your tactical advantages on the next hunt."
"I believe I have heard some of your fellow Slayers call these advantages "buffs". What a peculiar term of art."
Arkan Drew: "If you face the challenge of the Escalation and, er...survive, I believe I'll be able to use the charged aether absorbed by your lantern to attune it using the L.A.D. machine just behind me here."
Arkan Drew: "Hopefully this isn't any indication of further things to come out of the Maelstrom..."

Living legends, waiting for you at the end of the most difficult and dangerous Escalation hunts. Do not brave their domains lightly. "
Arkan Drew: "And if you reach the end of your hunt and the titan has yet to emerge, well, it may not yet consider you a threat. Should that happen, keep pressing the attack, and empowering yourself with the L.A.D., until it does."
