Springtide is a seasonal event in Dauntless. It corresponds to the real-world celebrations of Easter and Passover.
Lore[]
"In Ramsgate, the weather has started to warm, bringing Springtide cheer— and cotton-tailed pufflehops — back to the Shattered Isles. But more pufflehops also means more hungry styxians…"
~From the Dauntless website
Past Springtide Celebrations[]
Springtide 2020[]
The Pufflehop Rescue hunt was revealed, and made available for the duration. In it, slayers had three tasks to complete, and a limited time to do each. In the first part slayers gathered as many eggs as possible, in the second part slayers herded pufflehops into a pen, and in the third part players fended off attacking styxians. Players earned carrot chips, based on their performance, to spend in the special Springtide shop. Players could also obtain 50 carrot chips per successful hunt of any other kind. Players could double the carrot chips earned during the quest and from hunts, by equipping the Puffletoppers helm skin.
