Shock is an Element in Dauntless.

Summary

Shock is the aetheric power of electricity. Shock weapons are strong against Terra Behemoths and also apply a minor stun effect to any behemoth with frequency based on total shock damage dealt. Shock armour is weak to Terra Behemoth attacks.

Taking Shock damage applies the "shocked" state, preventing the consumption of any item.
