Ostia is home of many NPCs in the world of Dauntless such as: Wils Bormen, Janek Zai.
There isn't any more information about Ostia yet except that Koshai has once torn a swath of destruction to Ostia, and there are no pictures about Ostia yet.
However, there is an Ostian outpost known as The Blazeworks. The guards have a secret that they won’t tell any outsiders of- even Slayers.
Ostia is the strongest military force in the Shattered Isles, forging Weapons of Great Power in the Great Furnace of Ostia within it's main cities' heart. Before Admiral Zai's Ship fell, the Ostian government was overthrown by a military power calling themselves the Ostian Triumvirate, who want to wage war onto the Shattered Isles by taking over all the settled lands slowly but surely.
After recovering and exploring The Blazeworks, we learns from the report of Admiral Zai that the Ostian Triumvirate had purposefully made the island "drift away" into the Maelstorm in order to keep anyone from finding out about their secret weapon being developed there.
In The Blazeworks, the Triumvirate had done what has been a tabu for all of humanity since even before the Upheaval. They created a new Behemoth, Phaelanx. Now these creatures are spreading out across the Shattered Isles in order to aid the Triumvirate in their expansion.
As of the Power Balance Hunt Pass, the Orrery is currently gathering ressources in order to stand against the Triumvirate, but what they will do is yet unknown.
