Advancements in Ramsgate aeronautics technology have resulted in a thrilling breakthrough: gliders, a new way to traverse the Shattered Isles.
Slayers can unlock gliders from the Slayer's Path after reaching Milestone III: Slayer's Armour. Here you will also be able to unlock additional frames that offer increased mobility and range.
Here are some tips for getting started with your new glider:
- Press the jump button while airborne to open up your glider.
- Use aether jets to get an extra boost before opening your glider to travel longer distances.
- Pitch your glider forward for a nosedive and pull back to swoop up.
- Keep an eye on your stamina bar as gliding over long distances consumes a lot of stamina.
Slayers can also unlock the Expert Handling glider upgrades in Milestone IX: Edge of the Isles, to reduce the amount of stamina consumed while gliding.
Glider Courses[ | ]
Glider courses are an activity that can be found in Conundrum Rocks and The Paradox Breaks. The goal is to pass through all the crystal rings using the glider without closing it. Also referred to as Aether Winds challenges, glider courses were introduced with Patch 1.9.3.
Slayers are required to spend 1 
Patrol Keys at a crystal altar on Conundrum Rocks or The Paradox Breaks to activate an Aether Winds challenge. On successfully completing a glider course, Slayers can interact with the reward crystal to receive rewards in the form of 
Rams, 
Aethersparks, 
Combat Merits and a chance of receiving 
Bounty Tokens.
