Coldrunner Key (Surge) is an island in the Hunting Grounds.

Description[ | ]

Coldrunner Key is a tale of frigid lovers. Boreal Outpost and Coldrunner Key were once a single island; these two halves now orbit each other in an endless waltz. Every few cycles, they seek each other's cold embrace once more, fusing into a single landmass by ice and aether. Something about these brief mergers emboldens the inhabitants, amplifying their fury. Be weary of the key's embrace.

Frozen Gruk-Gruk Frozen Gruk-Gruk There's no telling how long ago this gruk-gruk shuffled off this mortal coil—the ice surrounding the corpse has preserved it perfectly. Although it may have been here for a week or a century, it's probably safe to eat if you don't mind freezerburn. And mild aether poisoning. And picking jagged, metallic pin-bones with your teeth. Really? There are easier ways to make a ham sandwich.
Elder States Elder States Behemoths from possible realities in which humanity has lost the war against their ancient creations, Elders display the cunning and intelligence (if not true sapience) born of lifetimes counted in centuries. Wielding the wreckage of human civilization to fight their creators, Elder Behemoths often leave behind hunks of scrap like this—strange, aether-wrought, and blunt tools torn from one of many potential futures.
