The Regal Alyra, a creature with powerful wings and a dexterous tail, is-by all accounts-new to the Shattered Isles.
When the Chronovore was pulled from Paradox Breaks, Alyras began to appear in its place. Activating the Paradoxicon seems to attract these winged beasts, which feed on the radiant aether ever-present at the temple site.
Most interesting, or perhaps most terrifying, is the Alyra's unprecedented ability to reshape its radiant power and attune to other aetheric elements. The Alyra can create elemental glyphs that, when activated, change the Behemoth's aetheric abilities. Blaze glyphs allow it to breath hot flames, frost glyphs allow it to summon freezing winds. Every aetheric attunement, aside from umbral, gives the Alyra new power.
Some of the first Slayers to discover this Behemoth called this power magic, but Dr. Priyani and other Behemothologists know that's just a word for a kind of science we can't yet explain.
While some Alyras have also been spotted near a radiant aether surge at a distant Orrery research facility, there's no sign of them close to Ramsgate yet. But if Behemoths are starting to draw power from across the aetheric spectrum, the arrival of the Alyra could mark the next evolution of Behemoth-kind.

-An Alyra can create elemental glyphs that change its attacks. Be preapared for anything.
