Aethersparks was a currency in Dauntless until it was removed in the Awakening Update. Aethersparks were used to reforge level 20 weapon skills, which will also produce an Aetherheart. They could be earned from opening Patrol Chests in the Hunting Grounds, doing Island Events, opening Daily Login Cores, or purchased from the Store.
