Aetherhearts was a currency in Dauntless until it was removed in the Awakening Update. Aetherhearts were used to power surge weapons and armour. They were obtained by getting a weapon to level 20, then resetting it at the Sparkforge, at a cost of 100 Aethersparks or using 200 Aethersparks without resetting a weapon.
Alternatively to powersurge, Aetherhearts were used for Sahvyt's cosmetic rumours, Living Blade Antennae and Living Blade Carapace
